Nærlandsparken consists of 37 buildings across a 151 acres area neighboring the sea.

Nærlandsparken AS is a real estate company owned and operated by the Risa Group.

Here you will find a selection of buildings for both business and residential purposes, a swimming pool, a church, and more.

The areas history runs back to a sanatorium for the treatment of rheumatic disorders. After World War II, the Norwegian Deacon Association started a work for mentally disabled people under the name of Nærlandsheimen. In 1989, the county municipality of Rogaland took over the operations that were preparing for closure and were officially discontinued on Dec. 31st, 1990. In 1996, the property bought by Nærlandsparken AS, which started a hotel and restaurant called Nærland Gjestegard.

The Risa Group acquired Nærlandsparken in 2004 and making sure it is of good use and planning for further development of the area.
